Grant Applications

The mission of The JVPC Memorial Foundation for the Arts is to nurture and keep the performing arts vital and alive while celebrating all of our creative friends who have faced AIDS or cancer. This calling is embodied in The JVPC Memorial Foundation for the Arts Annual Memorial Grant Awards (AMGA), which are direct cash grants awarded annually to non-profit New York performance arts companies to fund ongoing projects.

The AMGA nominations are announced on January 13th and awarded on March 10th each year.

Grants are made only to federally tax-exempt, non-profit performing arts companies in New York that have been granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS.

Support is not offered to individuals, or for film or video projects. The JVPC Memorial Foundation for the Arts does not make loans and cannot provide emergency funds.

Funding is limited by ongoing commitments and fiscal constraints.
